I want to make a haven for animals!
Pet care experience
I started working with animals at my local shelter, all breeds and temperament of dogs, as well as cats when I was 18. My personal experience involves primarily cats, I adopted my first cat at 21. I also have experience handling and caring for small reptiles, as well as the common pocket pets, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and mice.

All animals have free reign of the home. I have a fully fenced yard with a four foot chain link fence, I also have tie outs for escape artists. I have a litter box located in the living room, as well as five in the basement. I currently have four cats and one small rat terrier. The rat terrier is very friendly with cats and small dogs. I also recently rescued two female rats and a guinea pig.

Please let me know if there are behavioral concerns with your dog, and what those concerns might be. If they are fear reactive or reactive towards men. I can only accept dogs that are tolerant of cats and small dogs and men.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and give plenty of tummy rubs. A typical walk would be in my neighborhood, but for dogs that are well behaved on a leash, a walk could include going to Hayes arboretum to walk the trails, to see plenty of birds and squirrels and more!
