Hi! My name's Hannah and I'm a veterinary technician looking to hang with some four-legged friends in my free time! I have a boxer/pit mix of my own and two cats! I have also been employed at a vet clinic for over 4 years. I have learned everything from surgical prep and monitoring for spay/neuter and specialty surgeries to vaccination and wound care. I am well versed in specialized feeding requirements and medication administration. I can also easily identify emergency situations and care for pets young and old. I am happy to care for multi-pet families! I currently work full-time, Tuesday through Friday from 8AM to 7PM. I also work some Saturdays in the morning. Please feel free to send requests within these times though, my schedule can vary. My two cats, Keanu and Watts, are 2 and 3 years old, respectively. I raised both since they were 6-7 weeks. They were given to me in poor condition and I was able to care for them through to full recovery, although both will always require special accommodations. Deacon, my pupper, is such a loving and happy boy! However, his high energy doesn't make him the best partner for Watts and Keanu. The handsome man gets tons of attention though and he is also enrolled in a consistent training regimen. His sensitive GI system also requires a specialized diet and a strict no-table-scraps policy. Because I work in a vet clinic, I'm able to always ensure my pets are healthy and properly vetted. But I also take additional steps at home to care for the cats. They also have special dietary needs and I hand-make supplement and probiotic blends pre-measured for easy daily administration. Regular grooming, tooth brushing and nail trims are also part of all their routines. All of my pets enjoy their time outside (protected with flea and tick prevention!) and jump at any chance to explore in the yard or on a walk. The kitties can often be found engaged in "cat tv", playing with their favorite toys or lounging on their cat tree. Deacon loves playing with other dogs at doggie daycare and can be found sleeping in the grass or destroying an "indestructible" stuffy toy.
