Pet care experience
I used to work in a vet office and I love caring for all types of animals. I grew up in a house full of pets and spent many years of my life riding and caring for horses. I have dog- and cat-sit for many people over the years and also took care of friends' horses when they were out of town. Because of my experience at the vet's office, I am comfortable giving oral and topical medications to both dogs and cats if needed.

I'm a veterinarian, which means I have REALLY high standards for who I let watch my animals. Hannah was my go-to for watching my dog (unfortunately, we moved away) He loves her, and she does an awesome job taking care of my pretty high-maintenance dog. I always feel like he's in excellent hands when he's with her: she's super reliable, and I 100% trust her judgement. The hilarious pictures she takes of them having fun is an added bonus. You can't find a better person to take of your fur-kids!

I live in a 2b2b apartment with tons of walking trails and easy access to the Spring Creek Trail. I have an extremely friendly cat who loves dogs and has lived with dogs previously. The cat is also fine to be kept separate if visiting dogs are not cat-friendly. When I am not home, the cat can be separated in my bedroom and any other animals can hang out in the rest of the house.

I like to know what their personality is like. Ideally, I like to meet the dog in a space that is familiar and comfortable for them prior to agreeing to take care of them. It is very important to me that your dog feel safe and happy when in my care and a good first impression with their pet parent present is key. I love all breeds of dogs!
A typical day
I love going on walks and on runs! I have easy access to the Spring Creek Trail from my house and can go for miles.

I am currently working on a PhD at CSU, so my schedule is flexible and I occasionally work from home. I am open to caring for pets for people who travel often or helping someone who needs pet care regularly.
