Hi! I’m Hannah, a life long animal lover and semi new Rover Sitter. I have been pet sitting “professionally” since college. Originally I worked with a local service but switched to Rover in the past year. I’ve been a Philly transplant on and off for about 7 years now and love it! I work with a large range of pets, but most commonly German Shepards, Golden Retrievers and Dachshunds. My philosophy for petsitting is really to be dear friends with every fur baby I look after. I pride myself on petsitting for a few families on a continual basis, If we work together regularly I do my best to prioritize your family over new booking because I find the best experiences for both parties are the long term friendships. . I do truly see the dogs and cats I look after regularly as dear friends and do my best to make their time with me as much fun as possible. On weekends or evenings after work I try and set up special activities or prepare special treats, in the case of dogsitting if its within their comfort zone to take them to brunch with me and my girlfriends or enjoy some time in the sunshine on a picnic in Rittenhouse.

Hannah is wonderful with my elderly kitty, gave her a lot of personalized attention, and sent me great updates with videos while I was away over the holidays.
Hannah was amazing with our dog Bodie and our cat Remi. She stayed in our home while we were away for the weekend, and she provided us updates with lots of photos in the mornings and evenings. She took care to make the stay enjoyable for our pets while we were gone, taking our dog for lots of walks and making sure our cat got some attention too. Our home was clean and tidy when we got home. Hannah puts a lot of care and attention into the pets she watches!
Hannah was great with my cat Coco. She was thoughtful and thorough with all care instructions and my kitty really warmed up to her even though she is typically quite shy. I would recommend Hannah to anyone looking for cat care.
Hannah was the perfect pet sitter, very communicative and caring with my elderly kitty. She took great care of my cat while I was away and kept my home in great order. I highly recommend Hannah!!

Keeping your pet safe but also providing a fun time are the utmost important to me. To achieve this the meet and greet for me is a must. Even for the most happy go lucky dogs I like to make sure your pet is comfortable with me before I show up for a week and I like to understand all their routines, quirks as well as their way of communicating their needs. As you may have read in my reviews communication is something I pride myself on. I understand wanting to know what your fur baby is up to so when sitting I send 2 texts daily to give you a lengthy update on what your pet has been up to, lots of photos and highlights of their day.

If a pup has any special needs or food allergies I greatly appreciate being informed in advance so I may better be prepared for the pup. I love to bring along dog treats with me so I like to check in with the owner to make sure they are approved as well or if there are any that better suit the pups diet and needs.
A typical day
I love to take pups to their favorite local dog parks to see their friends or explore a new one slightly outside their neighborhood. Most of my pupsittint clients love Rittenhouse park so I try and make a point to go there at least once a day with them.

Availability
I am fortunate to work from home job so i am able to schedule in walks, playtime and other care throughout the work day. Most of my work is typically done from the couch so i love to tucker out pups especially early morning and on my lunch break so i can power through work and then get right back to play time by 5pm.
