Pet care experience
I have loved animals ever since I was little. I currently live in a small hobby farm with my best friend Willow—my Bernese Mountain Dog, 2 cats and a flock of laying hens. I am new to Rover, however, dog sitting is something I have been doing for over 6 years now. It started with helping a family friend and grew from there. Now I help dozens of families keep their pups happy and healthy!

I care for my clients pups as if they were all mine. My Willow (my Bernese Mountain Dog) means the world to me so I only know how much other peoples pups mean to them. Whether we’re on a walk or in your home your pups happiness and comfort is my #1 priority because I know how much they miss you!

I love knowing the dogs likes and dislikes before an appointment. Knowing what your pet values (toys vs. treats) Does your dog have any health conditions? Is your dog reactive? (with people, other dogs, kids etc.) What commands does your dog know?
A typical day
Depending on which town I am in I love to make my walk as comfortable for my clients as possible. What dog likes to be restricted by a leash? I love taking my younger clients on trails so run around freely and practise some recall (only upon permission from the owner of course) Treats are also something I love to incorporate into my walks as well as some basic leash manners and tricks!

Availability
I am a part-time student at the University of Manitoba. I am in classes in the early mornings on Monday, Wednesday, Friday then I do what I love for the rest of my week—take care of my clients!
