Hi there! I’d be honored to care for your pet family. I’m highly responsible, a good communicator & I’m told I have a calm energy, which is vital for animals to feel safe. I’ve often heard “my cat/dog doesn’t usually come up to new people…they must really like you!” which I take as a huge compliment. At the same time, I believe in respecting the space & needs of shy ones. Oh & I like people too!- so I’m all about making you feel at ease, confident that your baby will have the BEST care while you’re away. I’ve cared for animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, a horse, & even a pet raccoon, to name a few) all my life. I’ve been in NYC over 20 years, with 4 cats of my own— first Petey & Bonnie, and now Milton & Clyde. Petey & Bonnie were with me from their young adulthood until they crossed the rainbow bridge as senior cats; they taught me patience & grace, aiding them through illnesses, medications, surgeries, and old age. In January 2023, I adopted Milton & Clyde as babies, so I’ve been learning all about protecting curious, rascally young lives…a crash course in kitten proofing a home! I’ve recently decided to put my rich experience to use by caring for others’ pets as well as my own. I’ve been pet sitting for friends, and now am opening to a wider community.
