Energetic and reliable for your pet

Pet care experience

I grew up in Montana alongside dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and hamsters, as well as being around animals of all kinds since I can remember. I am an active individual who cares for animals as if they were my own and prioritize your training and care preferences during my time with your pet. My goal is to make your life easier owning and loving a pet to enhance quality of life for both of you.

Hannah is the best! My sensitive, slightly mistrustful pup had a great time walking, hanging out in the yard, and snuggling on the sofa during a home sit. Communication is an A+ and plenty of pictures were provided - I had no worries the whole weekend. House was immaculate upon return and Hannah went above & beyond cleaning up & taking out the garbage. Super appreciative of her sitting for us!

Safety, trust & environment

I request that prior to working with your pet, we have a meet and greet to discuss his/her activity level, feeding times, crate/sleeping and daily routine to seamlessly transition our time together. This is also a critical point to get to know you and your pet to ensure we all feel confident moving forward. An explanation of common commands your pet is used to is also beneficial to this process. I have been dog walking, animal caring and house sitting throughout high school and college and these are the main points I find to enhance the experience.

Information Hannah Joy Nurre B. would like to know about your pet

I request information on nuances of your dog's personality to avoid any problems during our time together. Examples include: if they get nervous or aggressive around other little dogs/big dogs, is it normal for them to roll over in the middle of the walk and they need more encouragement to move, are they vocal in saying hello to passers by and what are the commands you utilize to have them drop rubbish or another substance they shouldn't have? I have found these are very helpful in making the walk more enjoyable and efficient in getting your dog the outing he/she deserves!

A typical day

I love to work with dogs in matching their energy level with an encouragement in movement. I am an avid runner and try to sprint around with your pet in a field/park/green space. I base the location of the walk on your neighborhood, your pet's comfort in new spaces and around other animals. Primarily focusing on lower trafficked area helps me to get to know your dog more and enhance the safety of our time together. If there is a special activity your pup loves to do, I am happy to learn it to continue consistency in care.

I currently work Mon-Thursday 6am-4pm and am primarily available for evening check ins and walks. My husband and I have a home with a fenced backyard that we are willing to do a meet and greet with both you and your pooch as schedules permit. This would allow our new furry friend to familiarize nd feel comfortable and safe with you by his/her side in the new space. However, we appreciate your respect and understanding if it does not seem that overnight boarding would be optimal for any of us at that time. I prioritize quality of care and clear communication with you during this process to ensure the best experience possible. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions/concerns you'd like to discuss and I'm happy to make myself available!
