I love animals and love working with them!! I am currently volunteering with 4-H through Americorps. I'm specializing in animal science which means i get to work hands on with animals and teach kids about them. While getting my degree I volunteered with a greyhound adoption agency so I have plenty experience working with dogs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I have a 9 y/o family dog that we got as a puppy and caring for him is like a second nature to me. I have my own car so transportation will never be an issue for me. Americorps is a big time commitment so I'm available early in the morning and later in the evening, and I can also care for dogs on my lunch break. I would love the opportunity to spend time with pets since my lease doesn't allow any!
