Covid-safe & trustworthy dog lover!
Pet care experience
I'm a dog lover who is serious about Covid safety. I take Covid precautions seriously and do not eat out, go to the gym, see friends, etc. I live near several trails and a dog park in Newton Upper Falls. I live in a 1 bed of a 2 unit detached apartment with a private entrance and no stairs. I work full-time from home but have an incredibly flexible schedule. I’m an approved foster/adopter with a local shelter, waiting on the perfect dog to adopt. I cared for a family pet for 12 years and dog sit for friends. I’m looking to spend quality time with some wonderful dogs during this lonely time. I’m happy to take dogs on hikes or long walks, have play time, and cuddle up on the couch. I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins, and house sitting.
Reviews
Hannah has been a wonderful person to rely on when I need a dog sitter for my senior dog, Mabel. She is so friendly and loves spending time with her - from long walks to naps on the couch. She is thoughtful and listens thoroughly when Mabel has special care requirements (like medication). Hannah is patient which is really beneficial because Mabel is still working through separation anxiety and leash training. She reports back on how they are doing which is especially nice for longer stays. Mabel has a lot of fun with Hannah and I feel at peace knowing she is with such a kind and responsible person. I trust her with my dog and would highly recommend her! She is definitely one of my preferred dog sitters and walkers!

Information Hannah J. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has special needs, reactivity to animals or people, and any other quirks. Preferences of toys and treats are always welcome! I do my absolute best to accommodate any requests and will follow all necessary requirements.
A typical day
My favorite places to go on walks are Cold Spring Park and Blue Hills (for hiking). When dog-sitting I tend to include 4-5 walks a day. I start with a short walk first thing in the morning. After feeding and some gentle play time, it’s time for me to put in some work if it’s a weekday. A mid-morning walk and another play break follows. In the early afternoon or after work, we’ll visit a dog park if the dog plays well with others. Otherwise it’s time for a long walk or run around a local fenced field. The rest of the day includes a few more short walks, playtime, and of course some snuggling! If i'm just stopping by for a drop-in, there's sure to be lots of play time and petting. For walk visits, I can take the dog on familiar routes or map out my own.
