I'm a Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA® ), certified by the CCPDT, Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and a supporting member of the IAABC, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. I started my journey with dog training when I began working in the shelter/rescue world. This experience allowed me to see dogs presenting a variety of behaviors. Still remaining in shelter/rescue as a volunteer trainer and foster, my first foster, a mixed breed 5 month old pup, taught me about the values of patience and determination, and was a reminder that dogs teach us just as much, if not more, than we teach them. I also have experience with rabbits and cats, currently cohabitating with a spunky orange tabby cat named Poppy. I currently run my own dog training business which allows me to control my own schedule as well. This flexibility in my work routine allows me to have more one-on-one time with your animals! I will care for your animals as per your reasonable requests depending on their specific health, enrichment, and behavior needs. I know every animal is an individual and requires that same specialized care.
