I’ve worked in a shelter as an animal caregiver that focuses on dog walking, feeding, grooming and spending quality time together. We also focused on cat socialization and care. For a lot of these animals, I’d be one of the only faces they’d see in a day so my care was heavily relied on. I’ve fostered and rescued through shelters. I had a long stint volunteering as an animal rescuer for the local wildlife rehabilitation center. Through that I’ve learned a lot about how to take care of an animal in danger or in need, drowning, choking, etc. Within this last year, I’ve been working as a vet receptionist as well as a tech at a clinic in slo and have learned so many important things about pet care. I have a huge passion for animals and would love to broaden my horizons with different avenues of animal care and I’d also love to deepen my pool of animal friends that I could take care of!
