I've moved 3+ hours away from home and from my two adorable family dogs, which is the reason I want to work and spend time with animals. Our oldest one is a 10 year old Lhasa Apso-Poodle mix, which is where most of my experience comes from, and the younger one is a mutt we’ve had for over 7 years now. Both of the family dogs are small/ medium dogs. I have also dog sat for neighbors and family members. From the smaller family dogs, to the neighbor’s larger dogs (a boxer and a chocolate lab), I have had the pleasure of caring for a variety of dogs with a range of sizes and temperaments, a few with an aggressive temperament, but mostly just energetic. The reason I want to dog sit is because I can't have large pets in my apartment, and I feel helping other people with their pets is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with animals and at the same time help out pet owners in the area. Hopefully this will be a great opportunity for me to dote on some fuzzy babies as if they were my own while also giving someone the chance to go on vacation or even to just make it through the work day knowing their pets aren’t cooped up all day. I do prefer to work with the smaller breeds, but I am willing and eager to work with any type of dog! I am currently UW-Platteville student, but have no obligations weekdays after 3 and on the weekends. I enjoy working on tricks as well as giving great ear scratches, and would love to explore the town on long walks. I can be very flexible and am happy to follow any routines or rules your pets are use to, and I am very patient with trouble makers. Thank you!
