I have grown up surrounded by animals both the cows on my family's dairy farm and the 3 collies, we had on the farm. We raised and sold collie puppies while I was growing up, I raised and sold a litter on my own during my senior year in high school. I am used to large dogs, but have had some experience with small dogs as well, as my parents just purchased a spitfire Jack Russel cutie named Sophie. I am patient with animals but also stern with commands when needed. I would ask to meet with you and your pet before interacting with the dog to find out some behavioral history and any training or command words or motions they are familiar with.
