I provide walking, drop-in, and overnight sitting services and would love to help care for your pet! I've cared for pets professionally for 8 years and have experience working with all kinds, from dogs to cats to a flock of chickens. I've always loved dogs and have worked with all sizes and ages, from Newfies to Shih Tzus and 2-month-old puppies to my own 18-year-old Sheltie. I'm available for all kinds of care, from weekly walks to the occasional drop-in or a long sit. I'm equally a cat person and would be happy to drop by for meals and playtime or stay overnight to provide extra hooman time! I work with clients to customize care so their pet's needs are well met. Every animal is a unique soul - to me the highlight of providing pet care is getting to know and bond with each pet and learn what makes them happy. I love providing the pets I work with with joyful experiences, whether it's a long walk, belly rub bliss, or a big play sesh with their favorite toy! I'll follow your guidance when setting your pet's schedule and activities and will work to keep their life as normal as possible while you're away. If your pet is active, I'm happy to take them on a long walk or hike or do lots of playtime! If they're more of a couch puptato, we can snuggle and stick to chill activities. For walks, I'm happy to match your pet's pace - we can stop to sniff every leaf or get some serious cardio in! I've worked with many puppies and am always happy to match existing training that you and your pup are working on. I have experience introducing and guiding new cues, loose leash walking, and other helpful and/or fun skills. I also have experience caring for aging senior pets and can provide special dietary, medical, and mobility care and maintain a calm and safe environment for them during my stay. I always take extra steps to make sure your pet is thriving, whether they're 1 or 101 (in dog/cat years)!
