It’s in my core values to treat every animal the way I would want to be treated. Their comfort, safety and well-being is prioritized over anything else. When initially introducing myself to animals, it’s always best to communicate my presence, use their names, and let them smell me with the door cracked open before fully entering the home. Acclimating them to my presence will be my first priority before taking them outside or trying to handle them in any way. If for whatever reason your pets do not want to engage with me, I will give them the space they need while adequately caring for them.
