Pet care experience
Hi there! I've been surrounded by dogs and animals, in general, my entire life, and can genuinely say I love animals. I have experience with dogs, chickens, goats, hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, frogs, lizards, and probably even more that I can't remember. Currently, I have a beautiful yellow lab, Ben, who is the light of my life, and a whippet mix, Nala, who is my basically best friend. I'm a college student, majoring in Classical Studies (Latin and ancient Greek), and an athlete. I run on the cross country team at my college and have been apart of team sports for most of my life (lacrosse, ice hockey, even soccer for a year). Running is a passion of mine and I'm always eager to find a running buddy—especially one that runs on all fours. Now I'm back at college, but I'll be available during summer break! I've had the pleasure of pet sitting for a few people over the years, but I'm eager to continue doing so for a wider range of people!

Hannah is great with my dog. I discussed with her my dogs behavior and expressed concerns I have for him while walking. She gives me an update on what happened during the walk or if she had any concerns for my dog which I appreciate. She is prompt and responds to her messages quickly and available whenever I needed her, even on short notice, I have booked her several times and will again in the future.
Hannah was wonderful! We have a dog who has some anxiety and difficulty getting to know strangers. He requires someone who is patient, understanding, and comfortable with challenging temperaments. Hannah was willing to visit a couple of times before the booking to spend some time with him and get to know him and he was able to build trust with her and now he loves her! My boyfriend and I were able to attend a reunion weekend with his family without worrying one bit. She sent us photos and updates and helped keep our animals (2 dogs and 2 cats) comfortable and happy until we could return. It's tough as it is leaving your animals behind when you go out of town, but it's infinitely worse when you have a dog with behavioral problems since it can be so difficult to find a sitter who is skilled and comfortable enough to give them what they need to be successful. Every dog is different in the way that they handle human contact, so I'd love to know how much petting/love your dog enjoys! I'd also like to know how your dog reacts towards other dogs/animals in general (that way I can make sure both animals stay safe). Any important information regarding health problems (if it's important to know) or if your dog has a nipping habit would also be helpful. I'll work with dogs of any temperament, breed, or size (if the dog wants to work with me, I'll work with them!). If you have any other pets that need to be cared for, I'd love to help them as well!
A typical day
I'll walk anywhere and everywhere. Whether it's just around the block, or on a bike path, up a mountain, on a hiking trail, etc. If your lovable bunch of fur enjoys it, I'll take them there. I can run with your dog, play fetch, have them do tricks for treats (homemade treats). I can give your dog a bath or brush their fur out as well—a clean dog is a happy dog! If there's a dog park nearby and it's a good fit for your dog, you can bet we'll go there. We can run in a field, do some dog yoga, dance to some good music, read a book, watch a movie—the ideas are endless!
