I am owner to a beautifully natured 3 year old Springador who I adore. Previously I have had family dogs all my life, from Jack Russells to Alsatians.

We have a dog and daily routine is very important. 2 walks a day is normal, come rain or shine. She has a lot of energy to get rid of. We do have an eight-year-old boy, so it is paramount that your dog is comfortable around children. We have a gated front and back garden and live in a very quiet area with no traffic. Drop off and pick up only.

Please let me know if you have any particular routines that you would like us to follow, we try and make new dogs fit in with us as much as possible so life runs smoothly; but we do understand that some pooches have there own way of doing things.
A typical day
We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful village of Chilbolton, near Stockbridge. Our house backs onto the nature reserve and walks are easily accessible. Pepper is a sucker for a ball and water and with our house being less than a 10 minute walk to the river test, she is able to to have a swim, which she loves.

Being teachers we are lucky enough to have the summer holidays to enjoy together. We are currently renovating our house so unfortunately a summer holiday is off the cards for us this year. We are a very active family and with our lively Springador, Pepper, we are always kept on our toes, and walk at least twice a day. We have a lot of love to give and trust me when I say that your dog will feel right at home here with us. When we are back at work, we walk Pepper first thing in the morning for an hour and currently we are lucky enough that my 18-year-old son is still living with us and his work schedule / gap year allows him to be in and out of the house during the day. He is able to give her rest breaks and then we walk her again when we return home if he hasn’t already done so during the day.
