Pet care experience
Hi everyone! I’ve owned two GSDs, two golden retrievers, a black lab, a jack russell x blue heeler mix, and various cats. Growing up in the country and constantly being around an array of animals has significantly enhanced my pet care experiences. I’ve gained knowledge in the basics of training, exercising, grooming, medication, and general pet care and apply it to each and every animal based on its needs. I have extensive pet sitting experience (long-term & drop-in visits) and have cared for horses, cats, dogs, and exotic animals. I’m reliable, trustworthy, and will always put the animal first.

Hannah has been such a great help with our dogs. She gives us great daily updates and always makes sure the house is secure when leaving. She quickly responds and is flexible with any schedule changes.

(At this time we are not accepting clients for our at-home pet care due to our current living situation.) My husband and I live in a home with a large unfenced backyard. There is a ton a space to run around, play, and burn off their energy in a safe environment. A meet and greet is a must to ensure your pet gets along with my GSDs and is comfortable at our home. I can also travel to the client’s home and/or meet them and transport their animal wherever is needed. I have an enormous crate for my GSD that can be used for any client’s animal if desired. **Rates may vary depending on the animal, type of service, additional requests during the service, location, visits per day, etc. If you want a service I offer but are concerned about the prices listed on Rover, message me privately. I do not believe in turning away quality care for animals over monetary concerns. We’ll try to come up with the ideal solution for us both!

Let me know if your dog has any special requirements that I will need to account for, such as physical or behavioral considerations. (Injuries, arthritis, allergies, aggression, etc). For example, my GSD can not go long periods of play-time because of his hips, so I set limits on his physical activity time and intensity. If there are commands/phrases that your dog is familiar with, let me know during our meet & greet. The less confusion the better (especially for our puppies!).
A typical day
I’m an avid exerciser and love to adventure. I can take your dog(s) running, walking, and swimming (weather permitting of course). I love exploring the numerous walking trails in the area. Our spacious backyard is also a great place for your pups to play fetch, tug-of-war, and get some exercise in. I’m honestly willing to do whatever is best for the dog according to the client’s wishes.

Availability
I currently stay at home with my two lovely German Shepherd Dogs. My husband is in the military, and we’re currently stationed in the Pittsburgh area. I am actively searching for flexible part-time remote work that is related to my BS degree in Criminal Justice. Therefore, my schedule is completely open Monday-Friday with occasional weekends when I’m not traveling with my husband. I LOVE being busy, so I’m hoping to pack my schedule full of pet-care!
