Pet care experience
Hello! I love caring for and playing with animals of all kinds, but especially dogs and cats. I'm patient, fine with pets on the furniture, and am focused on providing a fun, relaxing, playful, and safe stay for your furry family member. I have two very large dogs, an Irish Wolfhound/Lab mix and a Saint Bernard. The Saint Bernard is 130lb, and the other is 80lb, giving me experience with handling and managing large and strong dogs. I also have two cats, who are cool with dogs. However, if your dog doesn't care for cats I have the ability to keep them on separate floors. My little family is shy at first, but we warm up to new friends. Both of my dogs have anxiety issues, so they have to be separate from guests for a little bit until they can calm down. But afterwards they love joining playtime! I am working with positive training methods to help them overcome their anxiety and join the fun a bit faster. Because of this, I have patience and understanding with anxious dogs and respect their need for space and calmness. I have a separate downstairs bathroom if your pups prefer some privacy or alone time, as well as a guest room with a full size bed and armchair to lounge on in peace. I can separate my dogs and cats from your pups if need be, I understand that some dogs can be very anxious or uneasy at first. I want to make your pet's stay comfortable, I won't put them in stressful situations. I have advanced training in stress management and distress tolerance skills, to manage my own feelings and responses to evens. I am calm under pressure and respond appropriately and effectively to stressful situations. Thank you for considering our little family!
Reviews
Hannah watched my dog for a couple weeks before and our dog loved her! She understands that every dog is unique and that they have very different personalities and needs. Hannah does all that she can to make sure every dog she takes care of feels special and loved.
Hannah did a very great job of watching over my pets. She was an excellent dog caregiver, and I was so glad to find her when I needed to go out of town. I will use her services again. ?
Hannah is an awesome pet sitter. She watched our little dog for a week this past summer while we went on vacation. He was skittish and she took the time to introduce him into the space and helped him adjust to being in a new environment. She would send us texts and updates and helped reassure us that he was doing fine. He followed her around the house and always wanted to be in her lap. I appreciated her care, diligence, and willingness to keep us informed in case she had questions or wanted to share updates. Hannah is fantastic and I'd ask her to sit for our Elmer any time.

Information Hannah C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pup has any issues with anxiety. Both of my dogs are anxious, one of them extremely anxious, so I have to keep them separated until they've had enough time to settle down. I'd like to know your pup's anxiety level, if they need to have alone time, and if they need any other special attention to behavior concerns. Thank you!
