Over the past few years, I've watched a multitude of animals all over this big beautiful world. While in France I stayed in a 200 year old house with a couple of kitties, out on a Washington farm I herded goats for a week, and dogs on dogs on dogs in Colorado. Honestly the hardest part for me, in watching other's animals, is saying goodbye. I had the great pleasure of taking care of Riley (a shepherd/collie mix) for 2 and a half months. Afterwards I knew that I needed to keep being around animals, because seeing them happy makes me filled with love. Currently I take a 3 month old shepherd/golden puppy for walks every Tuesday and intermittently stay with two older dogs who are just wanting some comfort, just like me.
