Pet care experience
Hello there! I have been working with dogs professionally for just over 2 years now, in both a shelter and a boarding environment. I also grew up with dogs, and have my own fur-baby named Rosie. I am comfortable giving dogs medications orally, and if they are calm dogs, I can also do insulin injections for diabetic animals. I am available Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and can be flexible on other days (dependent on work scheduling). I am usually free before noon on Thursday and Friday, and after 3:30 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I am a big believer in using positive reinforcement when working with dogs, but I'd love to chat more about how you work with yours to help keep things consistent and keep your dog comfortable. I live close to downtown Frederick, and would love to explore with your pup!

The most important thing for me is making sure your dog feels comfortable. I'd like to know how your dog is with new people, and how they react to strangers and other animals while on a leash. If I am taking care of a special needs dog, I would like to know what the condition is and what the care requirements are, as well as instructions for medications if needed.
A typical day
We can go for walks around your neighborhood, or in downtown Frederick around Baker Park or Carroll Creek. For drop in visits, I am always up for puppy snuggles, playing tug and fetch, or reading to them if they prefer quieter company.
