Spoils furbabies with love

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Hannah! I'm a full-time student at Evangel University; I'd consider myself a laid back tomboy of a person, breaking a sweat during playtime or being jumped on and ambushed with slobbery kisses doesn't faze me the slightest. I grew up around dogs, and have two that live back home with my parents, a Puggle and German Shepard. I love all animals; sometimes I question if my love for dogs and turtles is more of an obsession though. I would have a furbaby of my own to spoil if my current living arrangements would allow it but for now, I stick to spoiling furbabies in local shelters and those of Rover clients. My eleven years of experience covers working with dogs that have behavioral issues such as hyperactivity, stubbornness, disobedience and have special needs. I use treats, toys, and patience to gain a dog's trust; I prefer to schedule a meet and greet before booking sittings with new clients to ensure that a base level of trust is established with both the client and their dog as well as address any further questions or concerns. My hours of availability vary depending on my classes and work hours of that day; I usually am unavailable and unable to respond to my phone Tuesday-Saturday 5-8pm. I try to stay flexible in regards to scheduling meet and greets and pet sittings. Personally, I think it is ridiculous to have to pay an extra arm and a leg for an additional pet if they are both at the same location, I have no issues negotiating price adjustments with clients. However, I do ask that the client understands that 20% of what you pay goes to Rover, not me. In all honesty, the money I make from Rover doesn't go into my pocket it goes towards paying for gas so I can keep doing this. I already work two part-time jobs; I don't do this for the money I do it for the dogs seeing their happy faces, tails wiggle, and just experiencing their goofy personalities literally makes my day.

Hannah was great! She was flexible and made sure the dogs played hard to get in some exercise. I'll definitely be using her again.

Hannah was great with both of my dogs, and I could tell how happy they were from the pics I got. I would definitely book with Hannah again!

Hannah did such an amazing job taking care of my dog while we were out of town for a few nights. This was my first time using Rover, so I was not sure how to feel about meeting a stranger, let alone letting one take care of my dog. However, Hannah was extremely responsible and kind & made us feel okay with having to leave town. She sent many pictures and in all of them you could tell my dog looked very content and happy, which is such a relief! I will definitely be contacting Hannah again in the future should I need another pet sitter for Luther!
