Happy pets equals happy homes!

Pet care experience

From a young age, I had always felt a deep connection and love for pets. I grew up raising cattle and farm dogs. Upon moving from the country into the city, I found that my love expanded to all types of animals- from cats to rabbits to even sheep! Being able to have a personal connection with a pet- even if they’re not my own- makes me feel as though I can add a little extra sparkle to their day- and to mine as well. I love being around dogs, especially large breeds, the most because I have come to find that they’re usually just giant goofballs of fluff, and just want to hang out and have fun!

Hannah is one of the best to be considered for being a pet sitter. She always puts the animals first and takes care of them before anything else. Hannah is good with all types of pets. She had something about her that makes all the animals she encounters to love her. She is truly one of a kind.

Safety, trust & environment

As I am going to stay at the client’s house, it has always been imperative to me that I leave the home as I had first come in- or better if possible. Cleanliness is important for me, and I make it a priority to clean up after myself and strive to do a little extra for the owners as well. Having happy little points like coming home to a clean home with smiling pets makes me feel better, as I hope it does the owners as well. Pet care is also incredibly important to me as well. I own two cats and a large, goofy dog whom I love, and I’d want someone to care for my pets as I do for them, which is why I am constantly and consistently maintaining high levels of care, cleanliness, and cuddles for client’s pets. Fun outdoor walks, exciting play time, and maybe even a nice Netflix show is something that makes the difference between caring for a pet and caring for a friend.

Information Hannah B. would like to know about your pet

I would consider myself to be a pretty accepting pet-sitter, and very flexible with my abilities to accommodate all pets that I may be taking care of. It is also important to me that any dietary issues, medications, or other health issues be conveyed and consulted about.

A typical day

I love to use each morning as a new chance to express my gratitude, so I typically go for a run to admire nature and start my days right. For medium-larger dog breeds, a nice morning jog is the best thing to help wake them up and start their day perfectly. For smaller breeds, I’m perfectly content to walk rather than run, as I wouldn’t want them to tire themselves too much. I also LOVE to go to my local park, which has plenty of maintained walking trails and a large expanse of field perfect for fetch or catching a tennis ball!

I am currently working part-time and I’m in college full time. I have a relatively fixed work schedule, and a securely fixed school schedule as well. My work schedule may move around just a bit, but typically stays fixed to what I can work around for pet-sitting.
