Energetic, experienced trainer!

Pet care experience

* I am currently taking new training clients * With over 23 years of personal experience plus 6 years of continued professional experience, I am a simply fantastic choice for all your training/ walking/boarding/sitting needs. As a mild mannered and mindful person, I’m able to tackle stressful situations while keeping a level head. I was born and raised in Portland but spent several years in Austin, Texas working at a dog training/boarding/daycare facility. There I was able to hone my ability to read and recognize dog body language and signals, increasing the dog's perception of me and strengthening the connection to their comfort level. Through this, I am able to establish boundaries to create and maintain a happy and trusting relationship. For all the services I offer, my ultimate goal is to balance the give and take relationship between owner and pet, which in turn supports a happy, harmonious bond. Although I do allow pets on my furniture given permission, I will gladly enforce any no-nos you might have at home. Overall I will treat your pet, pets, or home with compassion, respect and diligence just as if they/it were my own. <3

Hannah was great! I have a very anxious dog! He is crate trained but doesn't always sleep in it. Hannah noticed he wasn't settling down so when I couldn't bring his crate over she was able to borrow one to put my dog at ease! She also took him running everyday! I always appreciate a tired dog :) Thanks for going above and beyond for Rusty!

Hannah was amazing with our big guy! She took him on outings on Mt. Tabor, to the dog park, walks. She sent us regular pictures and updates, which were so good to see. Hannah and Panda treated him like a family member, and you really can't ask for more than that. Would absolutely go back to Hannah and her excellent care. We have a big dog, and while he is a sweetheart, a lot of people are afraid of him. Hannah was confident and caring, and saw him for the big teddy bear he is! Our dog Mingus moped for a straight week after he came back home, he had so much fun with Hannah and Panda!

Hannah was great, provided updates, and was flexible with pick up and drop off times. Achilles seemed to have a great time! He can be a bit picky about his canine friends, but him and Panda seemed to be fast friends. I hope Hannah and Panda are available the next time we need a sitter, because I know Achilles will be in good hands, and enjoy his stay. Thanks again!

Hannah is a complete natural with our dog. She has amazing energy and a warm, friendly approach that puts everyone at ease. She has watched our 1 yr old golden retriever several times, most notably for one week over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the first time we’d left him and she made sure he was loved and cared for (she even stayed at our house!) Our dog was so happy and even better behaved when we returned home. She has tons of dog training experience and clearly has the magic touch. Truth be told, we trust Hannah so much that she regularly watches our two kids! She’s a true gem!

Located in downtown Ashland, I am close to the dog park, Lithia park and several trails up Tolman Creek road. For older/ less active dogs, I also know of some flat, easy walking trails. Long walks with picnics in the middle are my favorite, but I also love to run and have the stamina to tire out even the most fired up pooches!
