Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs and cats for 8+ years. I have dog sat for family & friends over the years, including puppy care as well. My experience has ranged from letting the dogs out during the day & spending a few hours with them until their owners come home to stay over night while the owners are on vacation. I have experience giving dogs medication, as well as small rodents such as rabbits. I do own a rabbit and am willing to help with care of other small rodents if you own any! Beyond that I have 3+ years caring for over thirty species of reptiles & amphibians if you own any & also need care for them. I've worked with snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs & toads. These species have been both native to Pennsylvania as well as exotic & non-native.

Right now I do not have the amenities to keep your furry friend overnight, but I can bring them to my house if absolutely necessary during the day. I have a large, un-fenced yard however. There is a small neighborhood across my house that I can take them for walks at, as well as taking them to the Dog Park that is 10 minutes from my house or onto the York Rail Trail to help them walk/run off some energy.

A typical day
We will walk around my neighborhood or go play at the dog park that is ten minutes from my house. Sometimes we play fetch or tug with toys as well.

Availability
I'm currently on pay without leave from my state job (I am an Environmental Education Specialist for two state parks) until mid-march giving me the flexibility to come whenever I am needed to play with your pups, let them out, or spend time with them! I'm a very flexible person to begin with, so I can work with your schedule easily & strive to accommodate you because our fury friends are part of our families as well! I can help you as much as you need until March 10th, 2020. For the holiday season I will be in York making me available if your furry friend needs some extra loving while you're busy with the holiday season!
