Dog’s Best Friend

Pet care experience

Not only do I love dogs, I also know how to communicate and be responsible caregiver! I have 2 dogs of my own and the desire to better communicate with my dogs have naturally led me to study/take training classes to understand their language, their needs, and just to be a good and responsible dog parent. I am quick at understanding what they are saying, which is crucial when taking care of any dog.

Thanks again to Hannah for looking after our dog while we were away :) We feel lucky to have Hannah as a dog sitter for our pup, she communicates daily and sends lots of pictures, our dog has so much fun playing during her stay she gets the zoomies when we bring her to Hannah’s house!

Hannah and Abraham cared for our dog Mochi while we were away on vacation and we were so grateful to have them do so! Mochi got along so well with their two dogs and we loved seeing them interact in videos! Hannah sent many photos and videos of the dogs which helped put us at ease while we were traveling. Mochi got lots of cuddles and exercise daily and we wouldn’t hesitate to have them watch her again!

Our puppy had a wonderful time playing with Hannah’s two dogs. We felt comfortable knowing Charlie was being cared for by an experienced dog owner.

Hannah was amazing!! I was nervous and asked a million questions and she was happy to answer so I was comfortable and asked her own to make sure my dog would be comfortable. Sent lots of pictures, introduced our dogs slowly, allowed me to see the house, and really kept me in the loop! Will definitely be rebooking in the future!

Safety, trust & environment

I respect all dog owners and their boundaries. Personally I use positive reinforcement method, but if you have your own boundaries/method that you are working on let me know so I can best honor that during boarding/daycare. Being away from home for dogs can be very stressful. I respect their boundaries and let them ease into a new environment at their own pace. This is important especially if I take care of your pet recurrently- so we can build trust and our house becomes a place to rest and have fun. I am also very good with shy dogs. For Boarding service •I require everyone to bring their crate for safety reason (for under 20lbs dog we can provide a crate), it’s always better to give your pups an option to be in their own crate when they need space when away from home. And also, when I go to bed, they will be crated because I won’t be able to watch them so they stay safe. •You are required to bring your pup’s food. They might have allergy. •I let the dogs out for potty break every 3 hours. Let me know if your dog potty situation so I can accommodate.
