Some demographics: I'm a professional in my 30s and live with my pug, Ninja. We live in a 1-bedroom apartment (aka "Ninja's big cave") in Capitol Hill and have plenty of open space at our disposal. My apartment comes with dog toys, extra doggy beds, and an enclosed balcony. As a dog mom I know how hard it can be to leave your pup behind - I will send daily picture updates, give them attention, and make sure they have a good stay-cation while you are away. Your pup will have mental stimulation, a play buddy, and a calm, stable environment to stay while you're away. I have always been a dog lover and have come to appreciate all kinds of breeds over the years. I grew up with dogs and have trained puppies to be well-mannered furry friends. I have flown domestically and internationally with Ninja! I will support good habits and commands that you have worked hard to establish. Just let me know the best way to communicate with your pup and what's important to you in terms of their training.

Hannah is wonderful with pets. She is very warm and sensitive to their needs. My dog Rascal is always so excited to see her. Hannah is also very responsive and responsible. When I leave town, I don’t have a second thought or worry about Rascal because I trust he is in good hands.
Hannah has such a lovely spirit, animals are drawn to her. She is also a firm trainer and is not afraid to make a dog do what's it's told. I have always enjoyed working with Hannah!

First - please let me know what your dog's need are and I will honor them. My apartment is doggy proofed and the building has a fenced in doggy park with many friendly dogs on site. I will protect your dog from picking up any debris from sidewalks that could be harmful and will also distance from dogs that pose a potential threat. I am aware of toxic chemicals and foods to keep dogs safe in my home. Please let me know about any dietary restrictions or medications they need to take.

Availability
My work is 90% remote, two days of which are half days, so I am available to take not only take your dog out, but they will have two companions around during the day and night. My typical routine with Ninja is an early morning potty break in the apartment's fenced in dog park, followed by a mid-day mini walk in the neighborhood, followed by a nice long walk after work in Capitol Hill. I may go out to an exercise class, dinner, or show, but will make sure your fur baby is exercised, fed, and taken care of before heading out.
