Pet care experience
A life-long lover of dogs, I am looking to ease the sorrows of living in a dog-less household during my year of AmeriCorps service. Having a dog has always been a goal of mine, but due to the nature of my service year and current living situation, it is unfortunately not financially plausible. Thus, I'm looking for puppy therapy with Rover! A little bit about my dog experience: I'm the oldest of 5 children and my childhood was defined by our beloved black Chow, Buster, and later on our cute white fur ball, Benny. Benny and Buster are an essential part of our family, and we all learned responsibility through taking care of pets by fawning over their every need. I have experience with dog-sitting in the DC area and am committed to ensuring that your furry friend has an active, friendly, and responsible caretaker. I am also a runner (currently training to run a marathon in 2018), and am ready and able to jog with your pup if they need a workout!

Hank took great care of my four-legged friend while I was out of town.
Prior to his Rover activities, Hank watched my dog Wellington in my home on multiple occasions, sometimes for extended periods of time, and he was responsible and caring toward both Welli and our personal property. We'd definitely recommend him to others looking for dog care.
I highly recommend Hank as a responsible and loving dog caregiver! Our dog Benny the Bichon loves Hank. Hank has known Benny for 8 years now and treats him like his best friend. Benny always lights up when Hank comes in the door. You won't find a more trustworthy caregiver than Hank!

As an active, outdoorsy person, I enjoy going on walks. I'm pretty well versed with parks and places to play throughout the DC area (personal favorites being Lincoln Park and Meridian Hill Park), but I will make sure your pup gets plenty of time outside to exercise. If your dog needs a high energy activity, I'm the guy! I love going on jogs, playing fetch, or whatever games that will give your furry friend the exercise they need.
