Pet care experience
I’m a local dgo professional with a FT job that has lots of flexibility to care for your furbabies! I’ve cared for dogs and cats (and a handful of snakes) my whole life, several with special needs. For example, I did subcutaneous IV’s for my lab in her golden years, I’ve administered insulin injections in cats, and I’m constantly getting calls about or rescuing animals. (My favorite was raising baby raccoons! But I’ve also rescued a couple of foxes, owls, birds, one tarantula, and a multitude of lost dogs and cats. If your dog has ever gotten loose between Trimble and purg along 550, there’s a decent chance we’ve already met!) I have a very friendly Newfie and two curious cats, one of whom recently made me a “foster failure.”
Reviews
Hana was very flexible with our schedule. She did great with our puppy and we were very comfortable with her. Our pup was exhausted from playing and having fun with doggie friends. We are so grateful.
Hana is awesome! She's amazing at communication and takes so many good videos and pictures. My dog absolutely loves her dog, he plays so gently and shares all his toys. Would recommend her to anyone easily!

I will honor whatever boarding/walking/drop-in rules work best to make your pup comfortable. In my home, your dog or cat would need to be comfortable with one large snuggly bear of a dog, one mellow cat who can’t be bothered, and a curious Siamese who will want to sniff and be friends (and retreat if threatened!). Furniture is pet-friendly; in fact, they think they own it. In your home or for walks, it is entirely up to you where we go, what we do, and if they are comfortable with another dog or not. It’s their world; I’m just there for activities and pets! :)

Information Hana M. would like to know about your pet
I need to know how your dog interacts with other animals on and off leash, if they have any fears or anxieties (mine is afraid of wooden bridges and certain flooring, for example), if they have any heath concerns, triggers, and what your care priorities for them are!
A typical day
When I get up, the cats get their wet food with the special fish oil additive first, then my newfie gets his dry food with a little wet food mixed in, cosequin for his joints, and sometimes pumpkin purée for his tummy. I try to do a minimum of two active things with my dog. I love going to Haviland where there is water to splash in and we can choose the length of the hike based on how we are feeling. Once the snow melts I really like Cascade Creek, engineer, and hikes more north to beat the heat in town. My dog friends and I like to hang out at Oxbow with the pups so they can splash, and as long as it’s not too hot the dog park is always a favorite! If I have your dog for a long enough period of time, running around in the woods behind Purgatory is so much fun in the summer…and it really wears the dogs out!

Spring, summer, and fall are very flexible for me. My dog has a step goal that we like to meet and most days we do a minimum of two activities. I favor haviland because of the shade and the water sources, and the variety of trails. We also love the dog park, animas river trail, nice shady cool hikes in the summer, and places with water to splash in!
