Making sure that owners and pups are happy and comfortable is my top priority. I always do my best to communicate clearly, promptly, and frequently, and love to send along pictures from what we’ve done during the day. You’ll be kept up-to-date on our activities and how your best friend is doing during our time together. I know that you consider your pup a part of your family, and that’s the level of care that I always give to the pets that I look after. Likewise, being entrusted with a new home calls for a sense of honor, respect, and privacy. I consider it part of my job to ensure that you come home to a welcoming space that is just as clean or cleaner than the way I found it. I grew up with several dogs and cats, and have lived with them my entire life. I’m currently raising a wonderful German Shepherd named Ruckus, who was born in April 2017, and a kitten, Mira, who was born in July 2018. Ruckus and I have worked extensively with professional trainers and I am beginning to apprentice dog training myself, so I feel very comfortable with dogs of all training and most behavioral stages. I feel particularly comfortable with large, high energy dogs. I have also been dog sitting and house sitting for the last nine years and have always found the experience rewarding. I’ve watched pets with all sorts of allergies, medications, and mobility issues, so I am very well-equipped to make sure that your pup is well taken care of no matter what. I believe dogs are the ultimate companions. They have the biggest hearts, they’re the best listeners, and the most reliable adventure buddies I’ve ever had. I can’t help but share in a pup’s joy when their tail is wagging at the end of a long run down to Golden Gardens! I love to be outdoors, and you can be sure that we’ll spend plenty of time exploring the city and making new friends. My favorite park in the city is Discovery Park, which is a great place to play some frisbee and burn some energy away from street traffic.
