I have adored and truly loved any dog or cat ever since I can remember. I always got in trouble as a kid for bringing the “strays” home! I have always had a dog in my home since I was born. As far as an adult and actually taking on the full responsibility of caring for a dog or a cat, I have been a fur momma now for 8 years. I adopted my kitty, Allie, when she was six months and my pup, Waylon, when he was 12 weeks. Waylon definitely needed training being he was so young. I successfully trained him to be fully house broken, he knows how to “give me knuckles” with each of his front paws, he knows how to sit and he follows my every lead. He’s a mix of a pitbull/basset hound and is my whole world!!! I recently rescued another pup, his name is Ripp and he is six months; he has ALOT of energy. I am not the “go to” friend for babysitting the kids, but I am for the fur babies! I have helped friends and family out and let their dogs out and fed/water them while their out of town. I have kept my moms dog, a yorkie, while she was out of town. My animals adapt very well to any other animal; they both just want to play. They are also both fixed and visit the vet for routine shots. I am 26 going on 27, I am having to change my employment due to my fathers health, therefore being able to help someone with their fur baby honestly is not even a “job” in my eyes; I love them! I am available to do daily check ins/visits throughout the week! Also, I am open during the week to play dates along with walks! My schedule is now around my dads doctors appointments unfortunately, but that means my schedule is wide open for part time pet care! I have my own two babies so daily feedings, playing outside and walks are my usual schedule anyways. I have a fenced in backyard with my own pups, Waylon and Ripp. They would enjoy playing with your pup! I have my own cat, Allie, she is 8 and is still playful as can be. She also adapts well with dogs and enjoys playing with them. She is a fully inside cat, but she does have all of her essentials in one room so she can be kept away from your baby if he or she is not a big fan of cats. I have a two bedroom, two bathroom home and it is just your average neighborhood home. There are neighbors walking their own pups all the time so having some quick pup interaction would be common!
