Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Halle, I am currently a Pet Care Assistant at an animal hospital where I help care for surgery and dental patients recovering but mostly care for boarding animals during their stay. (Including walks, feedings, medications, baths, and love!!) I have lots of experience caring for and loving animals! Growing up we had many dogs and other animals. Enrichment is key and I would be overjoyed to make your sweet pet happy!

I have one dog, a senior pug, he is my bestfriend! Our favorite thing to do together is adventure. I love to give him enrichment activities such as lick mats and puzzles also to keep him entertained. With other peoples animal my main goal is to make them feel comfortable and keep them entertained, this is also what I do at my job everyday!

A typical day
Dogs need lots of stimulation and enrichment! At least one walk a day is so fulfilling for dogs (and even for me!), we would take one walk a day at least and explore nature together! I love giving dogs puzzles to find small treats inside. It’s rewarding and really gets their minds going! And of course any toys your dogs loves to play with we will play with. Making your pets feel comfortable and loved is one of my favorites too. After a long day it is nice to wind down together.

Availability
I currently work around 30-38 hours a week, my schedules tend to be posted about a week prior and the shifts I can have range from 6am-1pm, 7:45am-12:45am, 1 or 2pm- 8pm, and 7:45-3:15. We would work around my schedule for drop ins, walks and daycare!
