I have grown up caring for small dogs and the highlight of each day is spending time with my miniature schnauzer, Maisie! I am all about my dog and would love to pamper yours just the same. I would love to care for your dogs weighing 20 pounds or less and non-shedding breeds please as we have allergies in the home.

Where do I start with the awesome service from Halima?!! Every time I drop my little Avery off with her, I know my baby is going to have the time of her life! She sends me a little video updates and pictures to let me know it’s all smiles in Barkville! She’s also very diligent in making sure that my little Avery gets her walks and is fed on time. When I need to leave town for the day or for a week I know she’s got my back… I would leave 10 stars if I could:) she is THE BEST!!
Halima is a very responsible pet parent of a beautiful miniature schnauzer. She gives her dog plenty of enrichment so that she doesn’t become bored or develop bad habits. She teaches her tricks, provides puzzles and toys, trains her in walking properly on leash, agility and much more. She would be great for someone who wants socialization for their pet.

I have a large, completely fenced-in yard and stairs that can be gated off if needed. Dogs will be supervised in the yard at all times. There is a park in my neighborhood that we visit regularly to get out any extra energy and decompress! I allow my dog on the furniture including beds and will happily do the same for yours unless you would prefer otherwise. I know from experience how tough it can be to leave your pets with a sitter and I’m dedicated to doing what I can to make it a positive experience for both you and your fur baby!

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are both important to ensure your dog has a great time! A typical day consists of supervised backyard time where I have a mini agility course set up, walks, and more toys than I can count!

I do freelance work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I will be home with the dogs at all times and able to give them my undivided attention.
