I am, by all definitions, a little bit of a "crazy dog lady", the kind that stops a conversation mid-sentence to point out a dog across the street. I have a passion for animals of all kinds - even the scaly, slimy, and too-many-legged - but dogs will always have a special place in my heart. I had the pleasure and opportunity of growing up with some amazing dogs - an Alaskan Malamute, and a chiweenie - both of which were unique in personality, expressions of affection, energy levels. Both also suffered from health complications in their later years, giving me experience in handling senior dogs and special needs. I also had the honor of working professionally with dogs, beyond the occasional dog-sitting or dog-walking, at a daycare and boarding facility -- there, I was tasked with managing play groups of dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities, along with administering medications, paw wax, rest schedules for those needing them, lunch times, potty breaks, and cleaning up and becoming entirely unphased when faced with dog accidents and messes, and, of course, blowing bubbles and throwing toys to keep the dogs enriched and engaged.

HIRE HALIE!!! An absolutely sweetheart of a person and a legitimate dog LOVER. We hired her to house sit and watch our dogs for 6 days. She exceeded our expectations in every way. We returned to find our home and dogs both in excellent shape. Like we never left. Thank you Halie. No one else will watch our home or dogs in the future, but Halie.
Halie house sat for us and was the best sitter we could’ve asked for! We had a last minute emergency where instead of boarding, we had to find someone to house sit for us and we’re so lucky we found Halie. She was wonderful with our dog and administered the medicine required for our pup. She was very respectful in our home. I have nothing but positive things from our experience. I would highly recommend her.

I have absolutely no breed restrictions whatsoever! However, please let me know if your pet has any health conditions and/or allergies, along with potential behavioral issues, or anxieties; this will not affect my opinion on your furry friend, but I want your dog to be as comfortable as possible during our time together, and would hate to do anything that may stress them out!
A typical day
I am someone that wants to ensure your dog has the most fun on our adventures together (with your permission, and accommodating with your pet's comfort levels, of course) with just a touch of spoiling and a lot of head scratches and belly rubs in between! I have a fenced yard with a pond, and room to run and explore during potty breaks, but also have a park with a walking track available nearby for dogs boarding with me that need a little more time to exercise. I live a short drive from Hines, as well, which includes plenty of space to explore, walk along hiking trails, and a dog park for those fuzzy pals that need some social time! If owner and dog are both comfortable, I will also take them on other adventures - I live near a good selection of pet friendly stores, and pet supply stores - and probably stop for some dog treats and a puppicino on the way home!
