Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for years and have been around them my entire life; they complete me and I love meeting any and all types of animal friends! I have 3 dogs of my own: a Lab/Pit mix named Zoey, a 3-legged Pit/Rottie named Duncan who I actually adopted from my job, and a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix named Nickel. I also have a variety of fish, snails, a hamster, and a crested gecko, so my love doesn’t have boundaries!

Haley was great! We had her check in on our dog who recently had puppies. We couldn’t ask for better care and communication throughout the process. I highly recommend Haley as a dogsitter!

A typical day
We love playing games and playing with toys, going outside to play, and sometimes just relaxing too! We take it hour by hour, so if we want to run around one minute, but nap the next, that’s okay too!

Availability
I work part-time at the Fluvanna County SPCA on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays and am also going to college to major in biology. We are currently in the process of moving, so at the moment, things can be hectic, however, animals still need care, so that always comes first! I am currently out of work due to a driver’s reckless decision to drive on the wrong side of the road and hit me head-on. It broke my right (dominant) wrist in 3 places and I had to have a plate and 7 screws surgically placed on April 9th, so I am still recovering. Other than trying to move a house and doctor’s appointments, I am readily available and am looking forward to caring for your babies in whatever way I can!
