Pet care experience
I grew up with two JRTs, and was the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood up until I left for college in 2018. Both as a pet sitter and pet owner, I have experience with dogs of diverse health needs, and I'm attuned to indicators of stress and/or illness. I am confident in recognizing and respecting an animal's boundaries, while still keeping myself and them safe. In May of 2023, I began volunteering at the MDSPCA as a Dog Deputy (now Level 2!), which has reinforced my competence and strength in interacting, playing, and walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds.

Haley has been such a joy to have for our dog, Beanie! She has some anxiety we have worked hard on and needed someone who would follow all the particulars of her walks. Haley has always been incredibly willing to be flexible and adjust to make Beanie comfortable. We are so happy to have her walking Beanie!
I cannot say enough great things about Haley! She is an amazing dog walker and goes above and beyond to ensure your pup feels comfortable with her. She has little behavioral tactics she uses to reinforce good habits as well! She has been very empathetic and understanding with my shy/reactive dog, more than I have worked with anyone before. I am so happy she blessed us by taking care of Millie!
Haley was great! Super communicative and kept me up to date. My dog loves her and it’s evident she is such an animal-lover! I trust her with my dog and 2 cats and would definitely recommend her for any pet-sitting needs.
Definitely will be rebooking with Haley. She took amazing care of Singer. Haley was wonderful, kept me updated by sending tons of pictures and Singer really enjoyed it. We look forward to booking her again.

In addition to safety, it’s my top priority to provide your pet(s) with a comfortable and stress-free experience while you’re away. Even if it’s a minute detail about how you prepare their food, a particular walking path they enjoy/dislike, or if they prefer one toy over another. Please let me know anything that you think may help build or maintain consistency and trust, and I will be happy to do it!
A typical day
I am very flexible and adaptable to the routines and habits that you’ve found work with your pet(s). Whether that be long walks in the mornings or evenings, playing at the park at the same time as their other furry friends, or just lounging on the couch hanging out!

I am currently taking a career break to focus on pursuing further education, which means that I am available during weekdays, most evenings, and most weekends. I still prefer proactive communication so I can plan ahead!
