My family always assumed I would become a vet because of my absolute love for animals. If my heart could handle the emotional rollercoaster of that position, I probably would have! I have owned cats and dogs my entire life, and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a behavior analyst by profession so have a natural knack for understanding human and animal behavior. I adore being outside and my preferred company is a furry companion :) On vacations I usually seek out a local animal shelter and volunteer to play with the animals or take them out for hikes and walks. Nothing would make me happier than to give your furry family member some love and exercise!

Haley was absolutely wonderful! I have a very needy golden retriever and she cuddled, played and cuddled some more! The minute she walked in the house Fynn was drawn to her. She provided pictures and updates! So all and all she was Awesome!!!
Great communication, on time, and sends lots of great pictures. Mae is so happy after they walk together. Haley is awesome - I’m so glad I found her! (Haley even went the extra mile (or 5) and cleaned up a cat mess when she came even though she’s just here for the dog. So kind!)
Haley is a top notch pup sitter and communicator! We really appreciated Haley’s daily pupdates, respect for our home and eagerness to go above and beyond. Our pups appreciated the snuggles, daily runs and all the attention they received from Haley. We were really able to enjoy our time away knowing our pups were in capable and loving hands! We look forward to booking again with Haley!

Let me know if your dog has any reactivity or anxiety around either people or other dogs. When on walks it is common to encounter other animals and people, and I would like to be able to support your dog by anticipating their needs. To set us up for success the key is having as much information as possible so we can make an effective plan.
A typical day
I love to play! One of my favorite things is to create mental enrichment games for dogs involving puzzles and treats. Typically this can be done with kibble or treats, towels/blankets, boxes, and common household objects. I also love to spend time just giving love and pets if that is what your pup prefers. Long walks, jogs, and playing in the park are some of my favorite activities and I'd love to have the company of your pup!

Availability
I am currently in the middle of a career change but have a Master's degree in applied behavior analysis. My schedule is very flexible and spending time making visits or taking pups for walks will bring me joy and serve as a nice break from more mundane computer-based tasks in my current transition phase.
