I am from the Philadelphia area and I have grown up my entire life around dogs. My immediate family has owned several, and we often cared for other family members' and friends dogs. I have also done lots of volunteering at dog shelters and have also done dog fostering. As children, me and my sister started up our own dog-walking business in our neighborhood. Even at that young age I loved being able to care for dogs and give them walks. I enjoyed how I was helping the dog get exercise and how happy it made the dog. Walks for dogs truly offer physical health and mental health benefits. I also remember their happy and devoted owners. I am at a point in my life where I have the opportunity and time to spend more time with dogs. I know how precious dogs are to their owners and I love to treat every dog as precious as I see my own when I am with them. I also know that owning dogs is a large responsibility and I know the anxiety-riddled process that is trying to find your dog a safe and happy place to stay when you're away or trying to find a way to give them the walks that they deserve.
