As a Freshman at Marietta College last year Haley registered on Make A Difference Day to volunteer at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. After completion of our regular Orientation Program, Haley volunteered regularly to walk dogs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as on Sunday afternoons. In addition, Haley organized and led a Marietta College student volunteer group that assisted HSOV's annual membership drive in two capacities: Approximately 15-20 students undertook door-to-door distribution of our membership application form throughout downtown Marietta, and, a second group of 15-20 students undertook development of a customer data base from past adoption records. Lastly, Haley was a regular volunteer on our Tuesday and Friday Marietta College Campus Dog Walks program wherein student volunteers walked shelter dogs through out downtown Marietta on selected week-day afternoons. In short, the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley is very pleased with the proactive and caring volunteerism displayed by Haley Ross during her time as a student at Marietta College.

Haley is the perfect person to take care of your dog or cat! She is responsible, is very personable and outgoing, has common sense and more importantly loves them all, well, maybe not snakes. In our neighborhood there are a few dogs that do not take immediately to strangers; Haley has never had that problem. You will not regret having Haley walk your dog, or take care of your cat.
