My name is Haley and I have over 15 years experience caring for my own pets, but have been professionally pet sitting full-time, with over 90 bookings, since August 2023! I put in an extraordinary amount of effort & love into my care, I always go above and beyond. I have been eager to help others with their pets after moving away from my family & pets in Chicago because animals are such a huge part of my life! ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE: I was raised around cats and dogs my entire life. The first half of my life I grew up around our black lab rescue named Camille alongside our two cats Max & Cupcake. PUPPIES: When I was 16, we got our Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog x Poodle Mix) puppy Rowan; I was the one responsible for -crate training her, -taking her on walks in the early morning, -giving her baths, -cleaning up accidents, etc. *My puppy house sitting price is for a full 8+ hour day of care or overnight stay as I would not be able to take other bookings and requires the upmost attention, I can adjust the price for puppy bookings under 4 hours!* SENIOR CATS: We had Max & Cupcake from the time I was born until I was 20. They both lived until they were 21, allowing me to learn how to: -care for senior cats -administer oral medication KITTENS: We decided to adopt two more cats Salem & Sybil when they were kittens. This provided me with experience: -raising two kittens -introducing a kitten to a full grown cat -introducing kittens to a dog I always send photos or videos, but I might not always send them through Rover if the reception is weak in your area!

Haley was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and communicative. She sent photo, video and message updates throughout the day. She was also very punctual and left our home immaculate when she left.
Haley is great! She followed the training we’re doing and kept our puppy Annie chilled at home with regular updates. Absolutely no worries leaving Annie and our house in very capable hands. Really helpful having someone who is good with dogs, Annie was calm and listened to Haley from the minute she walked through the door! Will definitely be booking again when we need a sitter

MY CARE IN YOUR HOME: -I am comfortable using a crate, will follow all your house rules, and will never put your dog/pet in a dangerous situation. -I am a very hypervigilant person when it comes to safety and the wellbeing of animals (and people)! -Always making sure your furry (or not so furry) friend is secure, fed, and hydrated. -I try to leave your home cleaner than when I arrived. (: MY SERVICE: -TAILORED ATTENTION: Let me know all about your pet so I can best care for them!! Depending on your cat or dogs needs, I will give them all the attention they want or do not want. I pride myself on knowing cat body language and how to pet them in a non-overstimulating way. -KITTENS & SENIOR CATS: I can tire out a kitten; I know all about their early feedings and their morning zoomies! but I have also taken care of my old boys, Max and Cupcake, making sure they were comfortable at any age. -MEDICINE: I know how to give medicine tablets in food and orally with syringes. My cat Max had megacolon, which had us occasionally giving laxatives or other medication for several years! -OVERNIGHT & PRICE FLEXIBILITY: I will happily cat-sit / dog-sit overnight for longer term trips; there is nothing better than having a cat or dog lay in bed with you or being able to gain a cat's trust/bond with them overtime. I can adjust my rate to be more affordable for longer trips! -PICTURES & UPDATES: I understand what it is like to be away from your beloved pets, I can send pictures, videos and updates without question <3 I like to give picture updates in the morning, afternoon, and evening; updating after a feeding or after a walk. For your peace of mind(: -OTHER ANIMALS: I have taken care of birds, bunnies, rodents, and fish, so if they need to be fed or checked on, I am more than capable! -TREATS: I am a sucker for giving treats, but I will only do so if instructed! -OTHER SERVICES: I can water plants, get mail, sign for packages, etc... while you are away!

If there is anything I can do to help your pet feel less stressed during my stay or during drop-ins, please let me know, I love following a checklist! I am happy to allow them to sleep in the bed with me, not leave them alone, keep their schedule the same etc. If you are able to provide written instructions for me to refer to, that would be phenomenal. I refer to it like a Bible anytime I need to make a decision regarding your pet! I would love to know how your dog's average behavior is on walks, if they are prone to escaping etc. My dog Rowan needed a harness for a few years so she would not get loose! Also would appreciate confirming the time I am arriving and when you want me to leave.

I adore making your pet feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible in my presence while also teaching new tricks, providing plenty of scratches and exercise! Let me know what their schedule is like and I will follow it the best that I can. (:

Rover has been my sole source of income and my full-time job since graduating university, please keep this in mind! (: I am still accepting new clients but may not always be available if booking super last minute because I have some clients I regularly sit for who book me in advance! I am actively looking for a permanent full time job outside of Pet Care but have yet to secure a position so I have all the time in the world to take care of your family pet until then!
