Home Boarding - Large Fenced Yard

Pet care experience

Haley - Your new Personal Pet Care Provider! I am a Veterinary Technician who also boards dogs! I have been working with pets professionally for 3 years and love every moment of it. My goal is to provide amazing pet care personalized to your pets needs, so that you can work or play and not worry about Fluffy! Because I work full time as a Veterinary Technician am not available every hour of the day; however I will respond as quickly as possible. When I'm working the dogs live in their oversized kennels. I work Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. I come home at lunch at and let them out, make sure every ones okay and happy. When I'm home no one is in the kennel unless they want to be, during feeding times, and when the humans eat. At night, sometimes borders will sleep in bed with us, sometimes they feel more comfortable in their kennels, so it depends on the pet where they sleep at night. While away your pet will get a 30 min walk every day depending on size, energy level, and health, socialize with the cats, dogs, and humans daily, eat a quality diet (unless otherwise provided), have access to toys, and have a private area to call their own. I will email you one picture on their first day and give you an update on how they are doing. We have a large fenced yard for dogs to go wild in. We have a room for the boarding pets and their belongings so when resting they have a space away from stressful events, and every day foot traffic. We have a radio playing soothing dog sounds and a pheromone diffuser in the room to ensure a balanced stress free environment. I can give pets medications, injections, nail trims, anal glands expressions and many more things, just ask! Extra fees will apply. My Goal as your Professional Pet Care Professional is to provide outstanding, well-rounded care customized to your pet's individual needs, health, and growth while your away.

Haley is an INCREDIBLE animal care-giver. Being a veterinarian, I would hands-down trust my pet in Haley's care. The compassion and hard-work she shows for pets and their care is hard to come by. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

Haley is an amazing dog caregiver I would and have trusted Haley with my two rat terriers with her no problem and they are my fur children, One of my kids is especially shy and she truly enjoy spending time with Haley when I need her services, it makes me happy to see my two are happy and comfrable :)

Information Haley N. would like to know about your pet

I want to know the good and the bad about your dogs! To be able to provide the best care to your pet I need details! Knowing the basic age, breed, and size is great but I want to know more about your pets life style, health and behavior before our introduction so I am able to gain your pets trust, and ease your pets stress when your not there. I plan and customize each visit depending on your individual pets needs. Life Style - If your home all the time and with your pet pretty much 24/7 but just got hired at your dream job or are going on a long vacation it could be a harder transition for your pet then a pet who is left alone 8-10 hours a day. Your pet is used to a routine that you have created and the change in routines can be hard for puppies or pets that need more attention. I want to stick to the routine your pet is used to so I can ease the possible stress they could be feeling awhile your away, Health - Because I am a working veterinary tech, a personal pet care provider, and a pet owner I come in contact with a lot of animals, healthy and unhealthy. I need to know the health your pet is in to provide the best care and keep your pet, my patients, my other doggie clients, and my own safe. I will need a copy vaccine history. * For dogs over 16 weeks old, Distemper Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies are vaccines I require your dog to be current on unless your Veterinarian recommends not administering due to pets health. All pets boarding must have a current flea treatment. I will need a copy of a current Rabies Certificate. I will also require a copy of the record from your pets most recent veterinary visit. To provide the best care for your pet I need to know about pre-existing conditions, medications your pet takes, and if your pet has environmental, food, or medical allergies. I do a short physical exam before walking pets, especially in heat, making sure they are well hydrated and their paws and skin is not damaged or infected. BEHAVIOR - Knowing the good and naughty behaviors of your pet will help me better understand them and be able to provide them with the best time possible! Let me know how your pet enjoys playing, where your dog likes to go on walks, and what treats your pets love the most. Your pet will be missing the family while your away which can be stressful. I'm here to relieve that stress, from not only you, but your dog and give them the attention they want! Knowing naughty behaviors will not only help me keep your pet safe but in good health! If your dog eats rocks, rips up toilet paper, likes to get food off the counter or does other naughty behaviors it would be awesome to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. I love all breeds! All ages! All sizes! I love the cute and the ugly. I love dogs, cats, and little furry friends!

A typical day

I walk dogs in the neighborhoods and parks around the home. Not to far from a "safe place" I can take your pet if an emergency were to occur while on our walk. Depending on your pets personality and energy level we will enjoy: For Canine Friends - Playing Fetch - Tug - O - War - Training Sessions (training sessions will be important for your pet and I so I can learn how to best communicate with your pet in a way they will understand) Even if they know how to sit or lay down showing them I'm happy with their behavior will encourage trust and stability which will make your pet feel more confident and less stressed overall. - When weather is right, some dogs really enjoy kiddie pools and sprinklers If you want me to be doing something specific or your pet really enjoys a certain activities please share them with me.
