I currently work at a kennel that trains police dogs as well as dogs as pets. I have dealt with the large, aggressive German Shepherd and the small, timid puppy. In addition to this experience, I have been around dogs all my life, and wouldn't have it any other way! With my time training dogs, I have learned how to be patient while also praising the dog for the work they have done. We teach the dogs sit, down, stay, place, heel, and much more. In high school, I worked at PetSmart at the PetsHotel department. During this time, I dealt with multiple dogs at once while ensuring they were safe and happy. Currently, I walk an English Bulldog once a week and pet sit whenever the owners need.
