Pet care experience
I have a great passion and love for all animals spanning from echidnas in Australia to our common four legged friends here in North America. I have always been drawn to animals and taking care of their needs.I have recently finished my Bachelors of Science in Biology at UBCO, I hope to be the best animal conservationist that I can be. My ultimate goal in life is to work with animals. I will be continuing my education in September to become a vet assistant before starting Veterinarian School. Ever since I was young, I have taken care of my own as well as several neighbors dogs, horses, chickens, fish, and other pets. I have also spent four summers working at Mountain View Summer Camp in Hope B.C. as a 'horse wrangler' teaching children how to ride and care for horses, as well as maintaining the horse's needs and welling being. I have dealt with a few serious situations with animals and feel very confident and comfortable around them even in less desirable circumstances. I have a strong desire to help any animal in any way that I can, and to keep them happy, safe and like part of my own family

Let me know if your pet has any special dietary needs or health issues that might need special attention. I prefer to have your local vets address and number in case of emergencies. I also like to know more about a dogs mannerisms when on leash, as well as if they get along with other animals or if they should avoid social interaction, etc.
A typical day
I like to provide an environment dependant for the needs of the animal that is in my care. I make sure that the animals needs are met first including feeding, a safe place to stay and mental and physical stimulation including walks, socializing and making them feel at home.

I am currently working part time but during my free time and spend i am primarily outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking and spending time with any animal as well as meeting new people
