Experienced dog foster mom
Pet care experience
I have had dogs for 25+ years, and have been fostering dogs from the Humane Society (Truckee Tahoe, and IHS in Boise) for 10+ years. I've fostered over 30 dogs, from puppies to senior dogs, and have experience with all shapes, sizes and temperaments. Spending time with your dog is how I get my dog fix since I don't currently have one of my own, so your pup will be treated to tons of attention and love.
Reviews
Our dogs had a blast and Haley was awesome!
Haley is an excellent dog sitter! Our lab Max adores Haley and gets excited every time we get to her house. She has a comfy home with many cozy places for dogs to curl up and a wonderful fully fenced in (with high fences, no less) backyard with plenty of space to explore and lay in the sun or shade. Haley is active and always heading to a new hike or park and brings the pups along with her. I cannot recommend Haley enough!
Haley grew up with dogs and has volunteered at dog shelters in every city she has lived in. She is very experienced with fostering and caring for challenging and recovering canines. Her love and devotion to these dogs is inspiring. With an abundance of dog instinct and experience, Haley is the ultimate dog person. Highly reccomended!

There are no other pets/people in my home. I have a big fenced yard, which your dog can either lounge/play around in throughout the day, or go out in for supervised play time if you prefer them to not be out there alone. At my house dogs are allowed to sleep in bed/hang on the furniture with me, unless that's something you have trained them not to do in which case I will defer to your rules. If I'm staying at your house, I am happy to follow any sort of house rules. I can either work out of your house during the day, or go back to my place to work and bring your dog with me.

Information Haley M. would like to know about your pet
How do they do with other dogs? Can they be loose and play with other dogs? Should I be aware of any aggression while they are on leash? What types of walks do they like (long vs short, street/path only vs hiking)? Do they like to swim? Can I take them to a dog park? Can I give them treats (if yes, what kind and how often if there are restrictions)? Where do they normally hang out during the day (inside, outside , on the couch)? Where do they sleep at night? Are there certain people they don't do well with (men, people in hats, kids of a certain age etc)?
A typical day
Depends on what your dog likes to do! I'm happy to do dog parks, long walks, short walks, hikes, backyard play time, swimming down at the river, playdates with other dogs, or just downtime on the couch if they're a low energy dog that simply wants some snuggles.

I work full time from home, and LOVE taking breaks from my computer with dogs for walks throughout the day. Aside from breaks throughout the day, I always get up early for an AM walk, and a long one after work. I love hiking, so if your dog likes getting out into the foothills that's an option too!
