Pet care experience
In sixth grade I was finally able to convince my parents to get a dog and Tucker has been my bff ever since! I am my friends' and family's go-to animal sitter since they know I treat them like actual babies. My own dog has multiple beds in our house, goes on a daily walk/hike, has a toy basket, pretty much goes everywhere with us and is upset when he doesn’t get to come for a ride, and gets ‘dessert’ every night so I am very versed in spoiling pets! I have volunteered at animal shelters throughout my life and enjoy every minute I get to spend with animals, I collected as many stuffed animals as I could until my parents agreed to a pup. I also know what it’s like to drop your pet off for a few days, so I will make sure to send you lots of pics and updates :) I'm experienced around both cats and dogs of all ages and understand what they need to feel loved and cared for!

Hailey was amazing with our giant boy Diesel. She had concerns about his size so asked to come and meet him before committing. Diesel quickly won her over and by the end of the weekend she was his new best friend. Hailey is very communicative and clearly cares very much for the pets in her care. Our Diesel can be a lot at 110 lbs and Hailey handled him with love. I would recommend Hailey to anyone.

I have a fenced in outdoor space and can take your pup on as many walks as they need. I have a friendly, senior dog but we can crate your dog if they prefer. I understand how stressful new environments can be for pets so we will do whatever we need in order to make sure they feel comfortable until your return.

A typical day
There are two trails near our house that we frequent but I love to go on longer hikes too if your pup needs that! We are active household and like to play hard, but also nap hard if that’s what your pet would prefer instead :)

Availability
I work from home and make my own schedule so I have the flexibility to watch after your pet whenever they need attention, whether that’s food or cuddles! I’ll make sure your pet gets the exercise they need, even if that means a hike instead of a short walk! I enjoy going skiing when I can, but other than that, no other commitments would interfere on a daily basis.
