I was very nervous leaving the dogs with someone especially since i know my dogs can be a bit clingy and overwhelming at times but right away you could tell she knew what to do and how to handle dogs. This was my first experience using this app and its a sigh of relief that she made this experience easy and stress free for both me and my dogs, and i loved that throughout the weekend she would send me pics of them. I highly recommend this sitter. She and her husband were awesome!

I’ve used Rover for years with both of my dogs and probably had over 20 different ones through the years. I’ve never once had issues like we had with her. Within 6 hours of my dogs being there she is saying she called off of work because my dog was “chasing” her cat. I told her when I dropped off my dogs that one of my dogs would be curious about her cats but my dog has never once hurt another animal and not only did we have a cat until very recently but they have both stayed at other Rover houses who had cats. Mind you I brought both of my dogs kennels to her house AND encouraged her to please use them and put them in their kennels anytime she needs especially because one of my dogs had surgery on her leg only 8 weeks ago and certainly does not need to be running around the house. It was apparent that she is not willing to adapt her house to accommodate having dogs there and was going on and on about how her cats were stressed out with them there and how she couldn’t call out of work the following Monday (no one asked her to skip work due to this). I felt I needed to get my dogs out of there even though we were already 6 hours away out of town. Luckily we found 2 people to help us last minute to pick them up from her but then she started stating it wasn’t a problem over the weekend but why come to me about these things if you’re not able to problem solve and instead suggest how stressed out her cats are? My future suggestion for her is that unless you’re able throw up a dog gate or something to keep your cats and dogs separate then I probably wouldn’t Rover. Sometimes you have to alter your house to accommodate someone else’s animals especially when you are being paid to watch them.
