Pet care experience
Looking to work with pups and owners in Downtown Durham! As a flexible student, I’m often home on weekdays and available when traditional workers are away from the home. My schedule varies week to week- feel free to message me! I live in a house with a spacious, fenced in backyard. No other dogs live at the residence. I’m also very active and enjoying taking dogs on 45 min- 1 hour walks, but only if they’re up for it!

Haley is a caring and detail oriented pet sitter and someone I trust with my most precious furry family member. She has taken great care of my anxious small dog, including administering medications and following other care instructions on his food and walking routines. I have used her in-home care for trips. She has a safe, comfortable space for visiting pets and a large fenced in yard that any dog would enjoy. She’s also flexible and easygoing if something comes up with travel plans. She makes it easy to go out of town with no worries that your furry companions are being loved and pampered in your absence.
Haley is excellent with our puppy, this time keeping her for three days and administering meds. Her yard is well set up.

Dogs are allowed full access to most of my home and furniture. Because of the fenced in back yard, I let dogs out to run around freely off leash but never leave them fully unattended. If dogs are crate trained, I try to maintain their nighttime routine of putting them in their crate. I keep all food, shoes, and trash out of reach.

Just need to know dog’s daily schedule, activity level, any medications they’re taking, where you store the leash and poop bags, and how much food they require. Also need to know how long they can be left alone during the day, if I need to leave the home for any reason.
A typical day
I try to walk dogs 3-4 times a day, including one 45 min- 1 hour long walk (all depending on the activity level of the dog). If your dog plays well with other dogs or enjoys fetch, I will bring them to the dog park upon request. The dogs I’ve cared for seem to really enjoy running around the back yard and hitting the trails at Eno state park.

I am usually available 3-4 days a week due to the nature of my academic program. Studying from home allows me to spend a lot of one-on-one time with your dog!
