Pet care experience
Hey! I'm a friendly, energetic and responsible person who loves dogs, cats & all kinds of animals. I graduated from UNC Chapel-Hill with a B.S. in Psychology and a master's in Clinical Social Work from BU. I pet sat throughout my college career. I also volunteer at Golden Ribbon Rescue as a Home Visit Coordinator. I have taken both my goldens through advanced level training, so I also have a lot of training experience. I work from home most days, and the days I don’t my partner does. There is usually always someone home, and we are never gone more than 2 hours. I'm very active and love taking dogs on runs/walks, hikes, cuddling, or just spending time around them to make sure they get all of the attention they need. I have a very flexible schedule and can likely make any schedule you'd prefer work. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dogs while you're away, since I have one of my own! I will also gladly send pictures/videos while you're away to make sure you know your pups are in good hands!

Haley did a great job watching Nora (5 months). Nora absolutely adored spending time with Haley’s dogs. Both were very warm and friendly towards Nora who is decently smaller than both of them. I would definitely use her again in the future

My older golden is very sweet, calm and friendly. My younger golden is all of the above but not quite as calm as she loves to play. I am very patient and have a lot of experience caring for dogs with anxiety. I will play soft music to drown out scary noises, sit by your dog while they eat, whatever they may need to feel comfortable :)

No breed preferences but would like to know beforehand if they aren't potty trained, have excessive barking habits or have a habit of chewing! If the care is done in my home they must be comfortable with another dog. My golden retrievers loves both cats and dogs, are very sweet and not aggressive.
A typical day
I love going on walks, going to dog parks, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, etc. I like to take lots of breaks walking the dogs around the neighborhood or taking them to the park to play. If owners prefer otherwise, I can do no parks or outside experiences.

Availability
For the foreseeable future, I will only be doing house sitting or walks/drop ins. Walks and drop ins will be limited to the downtown Austin area. For house sitting, I request that I can bring my 10yo therapy dog Zaliegh. I work hybrid, and I work about 3hrs per day. I am very active and love doing walks, training time, and play time with the pups. **No drop off or pick up before 8am. If you need to drop off before 8 am then must book for night prior** Please be respectful of my schedule when changing pick up or drop off times and give me notice when possible.
