Pet care experience
I’m currently living in Mount Kisco and just recently graduated from NYU. I work full-time from home, commuting into the city periodically, and I’m willing to commute to care for four-legged friends! I’ve had dogs and/or cats my entire life. I got a puppy of my own when I was only 9, and again at 20. I now have two pups back with my family in Rhode Island. I have past volunteer experience with a local shelter, and my wife used to be the Executive Director! We fostered two puppies (and failed, my dad adopted one) and then we fostered a large pitbull (and failed, hi Kirk!). I feel very strongly about leash laws. You can trust that your animal will always be secure with me, both inside and outside your home. I have amateur hands-on experience in dog training and I’m happy to apply what I know to ensure that your pet is safe, as are all people and animals around them.

If there are behavior challenges and training to which the animal is accustomed, it would be helpful to know that ahead of time. Also, knowing if your pet is cat/dog/human friendly is helpful to ensure the safety of your pet! Please let me know, too, if your pet is not up to date on vaccinations.
A typical day
If your dog is eager to meet new people, we might go for a stroll through the village downtown.. if that’s too much, maybe a brisk walk around the neighborhood! If there’s a nearby park, even better.

Availability
I currently work a regular schedule, 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. I’m happy to check in on your animals or take them for a walk before work, after work, or on my lunch break. I’m also fully available weekends if you happen to take a short vacation.
