Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. On top of that, I’ve cared for my own personal animals as an adult for the past 15 years. I’ve cared for fish, turtles, dogs, cats, a mini pig, some hamsters, a ferret and a pet parrot. I’ve even had a pet rat in high-school. So you can see I’ve spent my whole life around my own personal zoo.

My dog stayed with Hailey just over 2 weeks. She sent a lot of pictures and we caught up thru texting. Her home is clean, neat and dog friendly. My dog was fine when I picked him up because he felt comfortable there! Hailey is great.

I have a big two bedroom apartment 750 sq ft with just me and my dog. He has filtered water, the A/C on 85% of the day, free roams and often will go lay out on my patio or sleep on the bed/couch. & my complex is huge and has a ton of grassy areas and even 2 private dog parks on it which we visit often. My place is very pet friendly and pet broken in. So your animals are free to roam as they please while I’m home. For safety reasons, I have my one extra large crate here for them when I need to step out.

**Important things for me to know about your dog ahead of time: - what their daily routine is like so I can try to mimic it. - potty schedule - any aggression or odd quirks (territorial over food or toys or etc) - barking tendencies - how they do on a leash - how they are when left alone or crated - any allergies or strict diet Please note there will be an additional fee of $100 if your animal has an accident inside due to its all carpet inside. So please be very detailed about their potty schedule/training. **House Sitting Requests** For house sitting requests, I can come and follow whatever routine your dog has but it’s ideal that the dogs can be left alone for bedtime. It would be ideal for me to head home around 8-10pm because of my own dog and come back early in the AM. If your dog is pet friendly and you’re okay with Kuma staying over with me I have no issue staying the night. On special occasions, I can arrange a night sitter for Kuma if you really need me to stay the night.
A typical day
My day varies on what we will be getting into. Just depends on the vibe. But twice a week I like to get out with Kuma and explore a new dog park or new trail or places to eat. Anywhere that’s dog friendly, you’ll likely find us. If you’re comfortable with your furry baby leaving my complex I’m more than happy to bring them with us, maybe even stop for a pupcup per our usual routine.

Availability
I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. So it makes caring for my big guy and other peoples animals very easy for me. I often will go on hikes or head to the dog park randomly with my own dog to get a break from the desk and feel like I have a great schedule to fit in caring for other peoples animals. Plus, it’s a great way to add in some extra dog socialization for Kuma. My dog Maverick passed away earlier this year due to old age and I had him before I got Kuma. So the loss was very hard for Kuma. This is his first time in 9 years being an only dog so he often will cry when he sees dogs out walking from the patio. So while, your babies being with me may be helpful for you.. I’m really doing it for him. 💙
